Help out for the day in one of our centres

Support our gardening team in Snowdonia (4h/ week)

Born with green fingers or love working outside in the beautiful Nant Ffrancon Valley? Come and help our gardening team at Snowdonia Mountain Lodge

Volunteer responsibilities

  • Looking after the plants, flower beds and trees on our site
  • Cut the grass
  • Weeding

Skills & Experience Required

  •  Basic gardening skills and/or willingness to learn
  • Willingness to work in a team or independently depending on the needs

Support our cooking team in Snowdonia (3 hours/week)

Do you love vegetarian or vegan cooking or are you keen to learn how to cook vegetarian meals for large groups? Why not come and help out in our kitchen at our centre in Snowdonia

Volunteer responsibilities

  • Be a main chef or a kitchen assistant, depending on your experience
  • Prepare, cut and clean vegetables and other ingredients
  • Help keep the kitchen clean
  • Keep the food supplies replenished and organised

Skills & Experience Required

  • A love for vegetarian and vegan food
  • Cooking experience and/or willingness to learn
  • Willingness to work in a team

What to expect

  • The fulfilment of cooking for 20-40 hungry people
  • You will be working alongside members of our team who are experienced in vegan, ayurvedic and macrobiotic cooking.
  • Enjoy the nice meal you prepared and go for a walk in the beautiful Nant ffrancon Valley afterwards!

  • Small electrical repairs
  • Paint work
  • ...There is always something to fix!

Skills & Experience Required

  • Basic handy-man skills and willingness to learn
  • Willingness to work in a team or independently depending on the needs
