Dru Yoga Therapy Introductory Weekend

Registration is closed for this event
A workshop to give you a taste of Dru Yoga Therapy, enjoy a yoga therapy experience and find out what a yoga therapist does.

Are you a yoga teacher with over two years of experience?

Are you interested in becoming a yoga therapist?

This introductory weekend is open to yoga teachers of any tradition!

Can't make these dates? You can still register for the event and receive access to the video recordings. All participants will receive a copy of the video recordings

To a certain degree all yoga teachers take the role of yoga therapist. Whenever yoga methods are prescribed to aid specific health conditions, or whenever you give a student the alternate nostril breath or other pranayama exercises to aid sinus problems, for example, then you are taking the role of yoga therapist.

The boundary between yoga teacher and yoga therapist is blurring, and more yoga teachers are being put into the position of therapist.

Yoga teachers often say to us, that they 'just wish they knew what yoga practices to give for different health conditions'.

With G.P.'s trying to cut down on spending, and the government looking for cheaper ways to maintain health, it is only natural that more people are being referred to yoga as an aid in their recovery.

Come to this 2 day nurturing online weekend to fully experience the benefits of Dru Yoga Therapy:

  • Ruth Gent will take you on the "Journey of a Yoga Therapist" with an overview of the model of Dru Yoga Therapy used to address clients needs
  • Explore how asanas can be used therapeutically as Frani Wilde takes you through a "micro-postures" experience
  • Feel deeply nurtured and rejuvenated as Julie Beynon takes you through a range of yummy restorative practices
  • Let Noelene Francis guide you in meditations to help you reach the sublime depths of stillness where healing on a cellular level takes place
