We are welcoming you to a day of movement, relaxation and meditation with a break for a BYO lunch which you can enjoy in the Ashram kitchen or the gardens. Our day will include:

  • introduction and session overview
  • warming up and body preparation for sitting
  • exploration of one of Dru's powerful movement sequences, to prepare you for meditation
  • the rejuvenating power of meditation and deep relaxation

Dru Meditation is about finding a still inner point from which you can look at the world in a different way and discover a fresh, new perspective on your life. Using powerful breathing techniques (pranayama), kriyas and concentration techniques, you will learn to access a deep inner peace, no matter what challenges you might be facing.

The  workshop is held in the wonderful yoga hall at the Beacon Yoga Centre, surrounded by peaceful gardens.

There is plenty of parking around the hall or on Field St. Should you find the car park full there is a large car park  at the nearby oval—on the corner of Lewington & Grosvenor Streets

Some extra info for the day

  • Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start so we can start on time.
  • We provide hot drinks, and a great space to eat together if you bring a packed lunch along with you. 
  • Please wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat, bottle of water, a cushion and a blanket (or two).
  • Share the experience—why not bring a friend with you?
