About the World Peace Flame

On 31 July 1999, seven living flames from five continents were flown to the UK and united to form one flame for hope and peace - The World Peace Flame.

For past 23 years, the World Peace Flame Foundation has made it possible for more that 100,000 children to learn peacemaking skills in schools, more than 50,000 rural villagers in India to receive free medical care, and for thousands of trees to be planted for hope and peace.

Donations will go to the UK World Peace Flame (WPF) Charity, Registered Charity Number 1161432, which supports the WPF Education Programme (Peace in Our Hands), taught to more than 100,000 children in 20 countries worldwide (https://www.worldpeaceflame.co.uk). The WPF Charity also supports medical camps which have provided free health care to more than 50,000 people in rural India. Since 1999, more than 20 World Peace Flame Monuments have been established around the world as powerful symbols of our shared humanity.
